ACA Exchange Notices: What To Do If You Get Them

Employers may soon be seeing exchange notices which will notify a company of an employee’s eligibility to receive tax credits which in turn could be a tax assessment for the employer.

In the article “ACA Exchange Notices: What To Do If You Get Them” the question is asked “Should Staffing Companies Appeal?” In the article it was noted that staffing firms may soon receive 2016 ACA exchange notices which are sent to notify a company of an employee’s eligibility to receive tax credits which in turn could be a tax assessment for the employer.

The question is raised as to whether or not employers should appeal these determinations. As stated in the article no notices have been issued as of yet but the question should be asked before you get one.
