Point of Service Plans (POS)
Point of Service plans, the most expensive plan type which also offers the maximum amount of freedom. A type of plan where you pay less if you use doctors, hospitals, and other health care providers that belong to the plan’s network. POS plans require you to get a referral from your primary care doctor before seeing a specialist. POS plans require an employee to choose a PCP from within the network, most plans have no deductible, low co-pays and offer Out-of-Network coverage.
